Dharamshala: The Middle Way Approach desk, Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR), organised a two-day virtual interactive Umaylam (Middle Way Approach) workshop from 3-4 July.
A total of twenty-two Tibetan students studying in various colleges from Bangalore participated in the workshop. The aim of the workshop was to boost awareness of the Middle Way Approach among Tibetan college-going students.
The students engaged in thought-evoking discussions through the exchange of ideas about the Middle Way Approach. Furthermore, all the participants were allowed to use their own creativity making the workshop more interesting and learning-oriented. The students took active participation and interest in the two-day workshop and summed the workshop as “Meaningful, Effective, Informative, Excellent, and Insightful”.
Mr. Tenzin Kunkhen, Human Rights Desk, DIIR spoke about Human Rights violations: The Case of Tibet. He also responded to the doubts and questions raised by the students.
