Secretary Sonam Norbu Dagpo, DIIR speaking to the participants on the meaning and evolution of Middle Way Approach.

New Delhi: The Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR), CTA, organized two-day workshop on Middle Way Approach for Tibetan College Students. It was carried out from 23 – 24 January at Tibetan Youth Hostel, New Delhi.

The Workshop was aimed to enhance awareness on Umaylam among Tibetan College Students through interactive discussions and activities.  Over 15 Tibetan Students from different colleges in Delhi took active participation.

Sonam Norbu Dagpo, Secretary, International Relations, DIIR, and the guest speaker of event delved into an interactive and informative session on the Middle Way Approach, Evolution and Achievements. Given his many years of his experience and expertise as a member of the Sino-Tibet Task Force, Secretary Dagpo gave concrete information and deepened the participant’s understanding of Umaylam.

The workshop was facilitated by DIIR Staff: Mrs Dukthen Kyi, Ms Khando Doma and Ms Tsering Choklay.
